  • the one thing i noticed that he had wrong, is that the hosts dont reset every day, unless thats not what he was saying by "living the same day over and over again" in which case i apologize 😂

and i don't understand why Arnold wanted to create consciousness and then shut down the park because theyre conscious, sounds like a stupid person to me.

  • I think theres a Continuety error When One of the control people tells Luke Hemsworths Character theres a Host Wondering off more than usual he said is it acompanying a guest ?(Present Time Line)
And the Lady says yes but thats not correct because it was a flashback Dolores was having with William in (the past) …. so No hoe

  • WAIT! Delores & Williams part takes place 30 YEARS before the rest of it??? WHAT! NOBODY could have known that! I havent seen a SINGLE reference to this at ANY point & now its no wonder nobody I know (especially myself) understood the show! Im kinda happy I gave up on the show on the second last episode of Season 1 as now I know the Directro/writers FORCED me to give up by making a Ridiculous, IMPOSSIBLE to follow story thats literally 2-4 TV shows mashed together without ANY explanation or even a damn timeline! & HOW does this uploader know it was 30 years? Only the writers/Directors could know this & its NEVER explained! Thanks to this video Im VERY pissed off that I wasted so much time on something so pointless!

  • So Season 1 leaves us to understand that this world has a pattern, an algorithm of its own, having host fall into the cycle of being human.

  • 10:12 Interesting how you call Sylvester an asshole and not Felix. Felix was willing to let humans die for his curiosity whereas Sylvester wasn't. Felix does come across as a nice guy though whereas Sylvester comes across as an asshole. Goes to show we can't trust our own perceptions of people, kind of like the whole William and Logan thing.

  • Okay but I disagree. I don't think the message is that people are fundamentally evil or that consciousness makes you evil or anything like that. I think it's more about power. William genuinely did care about Dolores at first but when being nudged in the wrong direction and taking hold of the power over the hosts is when he became bad. Also Maive gained consciousness and she was quite nice at the end. Same goes with the guy who helped her. But both of them were underlings in a way

  • I am curious as to why both Livestock Tech names are Felix and Sylvester @ time 10:12. Those two names are synonymous to cats in the Cartoon World

  • So Ford wants robots to be human by artificial means and creates robots to seek sentience where Dolores is formed from the essence of Arnold who is co founder along with Ford who gets killed by Deloses…sorry Dolores but some other guy wants to see how evil he is and therefore kills robots who kill humans and they all get sexy and have some fun before killing the hosts…or is that the guests resurrected and become robots or the robots begin to exterminate the Daleks before the Tharls create a mass entity where Judge Dredd has to lay down the Law and Superman seeks his revenge after contracting Crightonite which destroys Jurasic Park. Err yeah I think I get it now 🙂

  • I'm late to getting on the Westworld train, but I just caught up on the whole thing in a couple of weeks without reading or watching any explanations of the show. Now, going back for those explanations, and I think this video is the only explanation I need for season 1! Fantastic job! I wasn't lost at all following along with this video!

  • The robots becoming conscious kinda (and that they can turn others awake) reminds me of the videogame Detroit: Becoming Human

    Posted July 3, 2020
  • Just watched season 1, so sorry if this has been disproven, but I just don’t think that MiB is bad- I think he was using the acts of cruelty to help the hosts find consciousness since he realized it was those acts that caused them to remember or flash back
