  • I think Volatile Gauge actively made your run more difficult in parts. By the end you managed to pick enough energy cards to offset it, but I'm pretty convinced that without it you could have skipped them and go for extra draw and had an even easier final fight.

  • This run was very well played of you. It feels like you finally got a good grasp on how to play Umbra very well. Most of your decisions were on point and even though I disagree with some of your decisions, they were all reasonable and realistic. Well deserved win.

  • Nice, unorthodox but effective. I play Umbra quite a bit but I learned a few things there.

  • 36:25 Void Binding is the most overpowered card in the game, but you have yet to discover it's full potential. I have won more runs with Void Binding than any other card. You put it on your biggest boy and then say screw ember, I have a powerful big boy who can't be touched. (Benefits highly from Doublestack, Holdover, or duplication. Not to mention 0 cost cards)

  • Not gonna lie i rolled my eyes when you took the construct, i know it was the Not a bad choice but i dont like when entire run just becomes EAT MORE especially since you didnt do a proper Energy nuke run (i know it needs some specific cards and relics so im not trying to blame you)

  • When you are fighting the boss with sweep and life steal, it might still be worth it to play units that immediately die to it. If I understand correctly lifesteal apples and decrements with every hit on an enemy, so if you put down 4 morsels on that floor and it sweeps them, that will lower its life steal 4 faster, making them easier to kill.

  • Spell Shield absorbs the damage from Restoration Detonation because it's the spell that deals damage. Healing an Explosive Sentient does bypass Spell Shield, because all the spell does is restore health!

  • Very nice Run 48, focus on units with spell as complementary in mind.
You played that first run as if you think that units need to burn out to be reformed… i know you know better.
Draft in front of Retro on bottom gives you enhanced unit on turn 2.

  • I think you need to think about the endgame a bit more. In the end you will need a setup which can reliably deal with the low hp backliners and up to two 120-160 hp every round as well as the boss. There is only a single round of setup time so any slow growing build simply will not work as the fat units will leak and deal huge damage to the pyre.

  • Molten Encasement is OP ignored card. Put endless on it and the card discription reads "This floor takes zero damage until the boss." Means you don't need a tank if you put a sweep/aoe line on first floor to kill little dudes. Say sweep husk with value behind it. Baron, Prior, or lady that resolves w/ a sting.

My apologies though Rhaps, this is technique for multi-floor setup. You're incapable of it.
