Chakra Review

The last review before you might notice a bit of a . . . . visual change in the format. You can look forward to my upcoming Top 10 for that. So as much as I know this one turned out a little “blurry”, you won’t get this issue again (I recorded 3 videos at the same time without noticing the issue)

Chakra I only just saw at the UK Games Expo – but I got to have a 2 player head to head in it and take a copy with me to review. I then played it some more……….did I find another hidden gem without realising?

  • I'm deeply AGAINST putting such terms in games – when you associate pseudo-religious/cult themes with fun for kids it can be pretty hard to protect them from going to that vodoo shop on Manhattan (yes!) or to that place near the bar where they clean your chakra with special rituals. Cause now your kid knows that "chakra" and "rituals" means fun, no?

  • I like that you're covering lesser talked-about games, but you spent half the video gesticulating and trying to explain verbally how to play, when it feels like you could have just laid a board out and given the example visually and it would probably make a lot more sense. I think the videos have potential! They just need a more logical flow for viewers to follow and glean some worthwhile insight from.

  • 10 views and a dislike – there has to be a troll doing it! Ah well no big deal! 😛 If it's the lens, yes sorry, it's the last video that will look like that, also YouTube takes FOREVER to process the video in the HD definition I uploaded it as.
